Closing Price Performance
| Share Price Performance Graphs display closing prices in
three time formats; - Daily covering a period of one year
- Weekly covering a period of three years
- Monthly covering a period of five years.
The graphs reflect change relative to the last closing
price, not the last closing price to a previous date. That is, if a
company's last closing price is $10 and the closing price one year ago
was $8, the graph will display a blue line intersecting at minus 20% on
the 'Y' axis. This represents the fact that one year ago the price was 20% worse than the
current price (as opposed to reflecting a $2 improvement on $8 which is
positive 25% relative to the price one year ago). To enable instant benchmarking of the subject company's
performance, the graphs always reflect the subject company's Sector
Index's performance and market's (XAO) performance. In addition to these values, you can elect to display an
extra comparison of a leading or sector index, or another company by
typing any of the proposed entity's name/code into the selector tool
provided (above the data table). Having clicked on the desired
comparison, either tap your enter key twice or click on the blue arrow
to the right of the selector tool. |
