Price Bands are calculated by accumulating all
occurrences of a price that a share has traded at in a given period (7,
30, 60, 90 and 180 days). The median of all of these prices is
displayed as a Price Band of 0. Then, at set distances of plus and minus 10%, 20% and
45% of price occurrences, Market Shares displays the: - relative share price,
- last date that the price occurred,
- number of occurrences, and
- percentage of occurrences.
Two methods of Price Bands are provided; unweighted (no
volume considerations) and weighted by volume (sensitive to volume of
each price traded). |
