As a subscriber you can lease as many strategies as you choose.

There may be certain economic trends or cycles that influence the type of strategy you choose and the period for which you lease a specific strategy.

Leasing a strategy may well prove to be a very wise decision so below are the important guidelines for leasing a strategy.

1. Choose carefully. Market Shares recommends that you consider a strategy's profile (source and intent), history, risk experience, activity level, required capital and performance before leasing it.
2. If you desire to receive Alerts via email, please ensure My Account>Account Details has an email address supplied.
3. As with any cost charged by Market Shares, it will be charged in arrears to your nominated credit card on the anniversary date of your monthly account cycle.
4. There are no refunds on strategies. Upon leasing a strategy you will be charged on a daily pro-rata basis for the balance of your current monthly account cycle (irrespective of termination). Beyond this you will be charged the published monthly lease cost. For example;
   • a subscriber known as John signs up on 15th day of May,
   • John's anniversary dates becomes the 15th of every month,
   • John decides to lease a strategy on the 10th of June,
   • John will be charged the daily rate (monthly lease cost divided by 20 days [average trading days per month]) from the next trading day for the remaining trading days until his monthly anniversary date on the 15th of June,
   • From the 15th of June onwards, John will be charged the monthly lease cost.
5. If you choose to terminate a strategy after your current monthly account cycle, which you may do at any time by going to My Account>Leases, you will be charged for the entire month in which you terminate. Market Shares will continue to grant you access (including Alert emails if selected) to the leased strategy until the anniversary date of your monthly account cycle. Following that date you will no longer be charged.
